OUR WEBPAGE NOTES

CVD-1 / 02-11-26 (TERRY)

This will serve as a progressive listing of changes by activity and date. Every change will show up as notes and will increment for every change. Once we are live, the notes page will be removed. Initially, the home page was designed to share a brief synopsis of information, leaving the 'About Us' page to have the exhaustive sharing of that info. I have changed the home page to do both activities *if you want*. The 'About Us' page still has the exhaustive sharing, so you can see which you would prefer, and I'll remove what you do not want. I would recommend that you treat your whiteboard as a webpage, placing pre-cut paper (taped) where you want, showing pics, text, and other components you want. Move them around until you are reasonably happy, then take a picture of it and send it to me.

I also added a 'resource' link to the emergency contact drop-downs that include numerous additional contacts. These are of course suggestions.

1. Completed the add-ons as requested for those areas that had actual info to post.
2.Looked at

My heart and my head are always residing in two different camps. I personally love beautiful pictorial websites, BUT, when it comes to a business webpage, the drawbacks are many, including:

a. SEO (search engine optimization) best digests text far more than pics ever could, and this is important.

b. People love pictures, but prefer a logically designed, well-developed webpage as being more professional than artwork.

c. A great website uses all resources to generate a well-designed footprint, including data, images, lists, automation, and making it easy to access what they are looking for. This is the conundrum between the head, which wants beautiful images, and the mind, which wants best practices. The last piece is the owner. As this must express the owner's wishes, all categories must blend coherently within the parameters of their wants and needs.
